Junior Product Technologist

A client based in Rutland is currently looking for a Junior Product Technologist to join the growing team environment. The client is looking for a candidate with a great work ethic and self-motivation to learn and develop.
Key responsibilities
· Provide technical support to ensure products are fit for purpose and meet required quality and safety standards.
· Ensure testing standards are met as per customer requirements.
· Attend development and fit meetings when required.
· Deal promptly with all specification queries from overseas manufacturers ensuring all details are recorded, kept updated and relayed back to factories within the agreed timescales.
· Visit factories overseas to carry out production inspections when required.

· Fashion industry interest
· Sales support experience
· Product and technical experience
· Graduate in a fashion related degree
Salary range – £20,000 – £22,000
Working hours – Mon – Thurs (08:00 – 17:00 hrs) / Fri (08:00 – 16:00 hrs) – office based role
Holidays – 24 + BH
Bonus – annual performance linked bonus scheme
