Senior UX Interaction Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £40000 – £50000/annum

WHAT TO EXPECT
This role exists to devise, define and specify all the digital experiences and interactions within Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles. Responsibilities centre around the conception, design and documentation of world-class user experiences across all the screens in the car (instrument cluster, centre screen, rear screens etc) and all features, ensuring alignment with stakeholders across many branches of engineering and marketing.
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
* Drive the creation, planning, co-ordination, delivery, reporting and verification of all interactions and the overall infotainment experience of features (and changes to existing features) within the vehicle's infotainment system
* Support colleagues in conflict and issue resolution within the Centre of Competence and across functions
* Support colleagues by interfacing between delivery teams, testing teams, stakeholders and regulatory teams as appropriate
* Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Essential:
* Batchelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Digital UX, UI, Human Factors, Ergonomics, Product Design or another related field
* Experience of developing and specifying user flows / experiences
* Experience of delivering technical products through a team, utilising strong people management skills
* Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and communicate at all levels
* Experience of building and managing multiple relationships in complex stakeholder environments
Desirable:
* Experience in the automotive or consumer electronics industries
* Experience of planning, co-ordination, delivery and reporting of requirements to support the Cycle Plan programmes using Product Creation Delivery System (PCDS) principles
* Familiarity with Agile & Scrum methodologies
