Architectural Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000 – £40000/annum
Unique opportunity for an ambitious Architectural Technician to join a busy, Cumbria based Architectural studio (Near Carlisle) as they enter a particularly busy period. We will also accept applications from qualified Architects.
Cumbria is home to several, exciting Architecturally-focused businesses. This is definitely one of them, and they plan to capitalise on a busy projected workload for the year ahead by hiring talented staff at various levels. Their first appointment could be either an experienced Architectural Technician or a qualified Architect, possibly even an Architectural Assistant. What is key is the individual would be committed, driven and hard-working.
They tend to work on a mixture of project types and they're often in the reasonably local area; encompassing Cumbria, parts of southern Scotland and into Lancashire and the North-East. Their established team is prepared to deal with small to medium-sized projects of varying nature. The issue now is they have more projects available than they have employees to manage them. Hence their requirement for additional staff.
What were hoping to see from applicants is that they meet [most of] the following criteria:
Degree Qualifications in Architecture, Architectural Technology or similar.
Minimum 3 years practical experience working in a similar role. (UK based preferred).
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent time management.
Ability to coordinate various projects concurrently.
Proficiency using AutoCAD.
Proficiency with REVIT would be beneficial.
A competitive salary is available in the region of £30,000-£40,000 per annum.
