Panaz are an award winning, market leading supplier of contract textiles to hospitality, cruise, workspace and healthcare customers worldwide. We have are looking for a Product Development and Innovation Technologist to join our innovative and fast growing business whose HQ is based on Network 65, Burnley BB11 5ST.
* Core hours of work are 35 hour per week. 9 – 5 pm Monday to Friday (early finish 3pm).

You would be working within our Product Development Team who are responsible for handling the project management and technical performance capabilities of our products from concept through to launch. The role involves –
* Co-ordination of product sourcing processes, factoring in supplier relationships, cost efficiency and technical compliance.
* Overseeing technical performance procedures and investigations relating to product launch.
* Establishing process routes and methods in liaison other stakeholders for example, Design, Supply Chain and Quality.
* To create and manage project pathways.
* To contribute to and instigate R&D innovations – product, testing and market concepts.
Successful candidates will need to demonstrate the following:
* Comprehensive, degree level knowledge of and understanding of technical textiles and relevant legislation.
* Commitment to own professional development – continual learning across marketplace, product lifecycle, portfolio gap analysis and legislative change (current and pending).
* Strong project management skills.
* Time management skills and ability to work under pressured deadlines and external challenges.
* Strategic planning and analysis skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to present data in a commercial way.
* Relationship management across suppliers, team members and other related stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with appreciation of a diverse and multi-stakeholder environment.
* Working knowledge of IT -use of project management software such as (url removed) or Microsoft Project would be advantageous.
