House Assistant – Manchester

We are looking for new House Assistants to join the boarding/ pastoral team, assisting with the day-to-day care and boarding routines of the students. The role could involve working with either our youngest students, aged 9-13 or our senior students, aged 14-18 and there is some flexibility available.
The job
* The role is nominally 32 hours per week, during term-time with three day or evening shifts during the week and one at the weekend. However, because of the nature of pastoral care, the role requires a flexible approach.
* The role is residential and single person accommodation is available.
In return
* You will be paid £9.50 per hour.
* You will receive free term-time accommodation for the duration of your contract; this may be in a shared flat.
* You will be entitled to the provision of all meals during term time.
