A market leading fashion retailer renowned globally for its high-end and premium collections is currently recruiting for a Head of Buying with strong trend awareness and multi-branded buying experience to join its Central London head office team.
As the Head of Buying, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the buying strategy, range selection and managing the OTB. Identifying range plans, whilst maintaining strong relationships with external brands, designers and vendors, negotiating terms & conditions, and attending UK & International buying appointments, events and shows. Working closely with the wider buying team and other internal departments to build new ideas and strategies in-line with business needs.
The ideal applicant must have exceptional branded fashion buying experience working at an established, senior buyer or head of level for a multi-branded retailer, online retailer or department store. Possessing strong relationships with UK & International brands with thorough awareness of branded fashion markets, fashion trends, new & upcoming brands, designers, and key fashion influencers. Demonstrating excellent commercial awareness and ability to drive profit and have proven track record of working in a multi-branded and multi-category department achieving year-on-year growth. It is essential you have previous management experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team, excellent communication & presentation skills (written & verbal), and willing to travel overseas.
