Space Planner
We are looking to hire a Space Planner for a large FM company supporting a world leading IT client. You would use a bespoke system to manage the space plans for the estate. The system is used to manage headcount that is attributed to site, understanding occupancy and the uploading & storage of space plans in DWG and PDF format. The applicant will need extensive experience in using AutoCAD and be fluent in creating & updating space plans at varying levels.

Salary: up to £35,000
The Role:
Manages space planning projects from inception to completion including the planning and design of space.
Manages space utilisation surveys from implementation to analysis and presentation of results to ensure the best efficiency of space use.
Manages headcount and seat administration for multiple UK sites.
Provides regular feedback on how to better utilise space based on occupancy.
Formally meets with the client on a quarterly basis to provide a full overview of space utilisation and provides recommendations around space use.
Creates and builds new floor and space plans and communicate this through to the FM Teams.
Use of databases to produce management information and statistics.
Able to analyze business issues, category trends on presentation opportunities. Experience of working as an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Assist in design and construction, providing guidance on office and expansions.
Plans project requirements by developing construction drawings and details
Perform design review, value engineering, and construction management for all in-house projects.
The Successful Candidate:
Excellent knowledge of current developments and trends in space planning, health and safety, fire safety, The Equality Act and other relevant regulations.
Advanced working knowledge of AutoCAD or equivalent software package and experience of space planning & design in projects.
Advanced working knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
