Salary: £10.50 per hour

Are you a bright graduate about to take that important first step in your career? And are you looking for an opportunity in which you can build your skillset, contribute to key projects for the business, and gain experience in the publishing industry?
At Global Water Intelligence we are seeking a creative and organised intern to work closely with our Design & Production team on our portfolio of digital products, websites and print publications. This is a 6-month paid internship, with the potential for extension or development into a permanent position for the right candidate.
If you are a recent graduate and you would like to gain experience in the creative side of the publishing industry, we would love to hear from you. Typical work activities would include:
• Supporting the creation of designs and layouts for in-house digital and print projects.
• Visualising data to create engaging graphics.
• General daily tasks such as typesetting and proofing technical content, illustrations, picture research, and effective file management.
• Creating high quality work while meeting tight deadlines.
• Supporting the development, maintenance and co-ordination of the Design & Production resources and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the team.
The following qualities would be desirable:
• Basic experience with production software such as Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
• Creativity and a keen eye for detail, taking pride in a high-quality end-product.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Time management skills and the ability to work well in a team and adapt to different challenges.
