Requirements
A positive, confident, self-motivated and creative person. A minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a commercial / workplace interior designer.
If you have worked in the Design & Build and/ or Design Agency, then please apply.
Proficient using Autocad, Google Sketchup, Adobe creative Suite, and Microsoft. Twinmotion advantageous.
An excellent communicator.
Product knowledge will be key.

Remit

Work on all stages of project design, you will be expected to interpret and implement a creative vision, designing unique places for our clients to work in.
Display excellent and consistent communication skills, in person, in presentations, at meetings and via all communication channels including phone, e-mail, Teams etc.
Work collaboratively to build and develop long term professional relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
Able to select and apply the right working style for the task – a team player when it is a team task and also able to work independently to successfully complete tasks to an agreed deadline. Happy to be adaptable and flexible.
Responsibilities & Tasks
* Brief taking.
* Test fitting exercises.
* Conceptual design.
* Schematic design.
* Design development.
* Construction documents – understand construction / builder requirements for designs, drawings, plans and documents.
* Liaise with clients and contractors on projects before, during and after installations (delivering complete continuity of service).
* Efficiently deal with suppliers, clients and internal contacts.
* Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure that high service levels are delivered.
* Deal with contractors efficiently, including payments and ensuring compliance / insurance requirements are up to date and correct.
* Managing junior designers and supporting their needs to develop their skill set
* Manage computer data – maintain up to date property information on the internal system.
