They are looking for an organised and driven UI Designer to join their expanding team as they move into an exciting period. They work with the world's largest industrial companies, creating compelling and ground-breaking solutions through highly creative interactive and immersive experiences. They work closely with their clients to achieve the highest standards, which creates strong ongoing relationships.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess an organised mindset, with the ability to drive projects and ensure we meet their deadlines. This is a highly collaborative role so we need a great team player experienced in working with agile methodologies. You must have the ability to work closely with other designers as well as producers, developers and the 3D team. You'll work on multiple fast paced UI projects so will need to prioritise as well as track current project progress and report accordingly.
Responsibilities
Drive projects through from initial brief
Work closely with the senior designer and other members of the team
Building wireframes, functional prototypes and conceptual artwork
Effectively handle multiple projects-maintaining accuracy and attention to detail to
meet stated deadlines
Work in a collaborative environment liaising with 3D and development team members
to create immersive exciting experiences
Be a brand guardian, ensuring the work aligns to our client brand guidelines (but
have the confidence and creativity to push things to the next level)
Share knowledge with those around you, both inside and outside of the team, on UI
standard methodologies, new developments… anything that can inspire and create
better experiences
Have an agile approach and work efficiently on all tasks, whether simple or complex.
What we require
A passion for high-quality user-centred design and digital interfaces
A proven portfolio of digital design work, ideally recent
The drive to create effortless user experiences
An interest in working with emerging technology platforms such as virtual reality
A core understanding of the fundamentals of UX and a basic understanding of
wireframes
Competency with Adobe XD, Photoshop and Illustrator or equivalent vector
graphics software
Designing and editing experience using Adobe After Effects and/or Adobe Premiere
Pro
Experience creating storyboards and other low fidelity outputs
