Famously Independent our client is a Retail Jeweller of quite some considerable repute. Long established, this admired entity is associated with many of our industries most Luxurious Watch and Jewellery brands.
Investment has been wide ranging from store re-building and expansion to re-configuration of interiors and now there is readiness to receive a Jewellery Craftsperson to be a permanent in- store resident.
Job Role:

New sale alternation
*
Ring sizing
*
Chain length adjustments
*
Small design changes
*
Client owned goods repairs that would include, ring sizing, claw and setting repairs, stone setting, soldering, polishing, cleaning and other alternations.

In addition to this there may be Watch Technical Support required, including link adjustment, basic battery replacement and water resistance testing.
All work undertaken must be delivered at the cost estimation that is in line with the company’s latest process and price list – all of which need communicating to the businesses Aftercare team.
Occasionally there is the opportunity to attend events to support your showroom colleagues this underscores the regard that all who will surround you would have for enduring bench talent proficiency
Requirements:

To be considered it is felt that the successful candidate would need to have a minimum of between 5-10 years bench service to have the necessary stretch of skills / experience that would enable this role to be fulfilled.

Individuals will intuitively be aware of best workshop operating standards and safety protocols and ever ensure that all workshop tooling is well maintained and ready for use.

It is hoped that this appointee would on occasion support the retail team explaining any detailed jeweller repair process – so engagement with customers in person mustn’t phase.

There is an element of ensuring required stocks of materials and tools are as per best company practice.
*
Administration wise you can manage job records self-sufficiently and keep those colleagues able to support you informed of each job’s progress.
