A trendy fashion brand that is leading the way in directional and catwalk inspired fashion has an exciting new role for an Assistant Merchandiser with production and critical path management experience to join their established creative team in Manchester.
As an Assistant Wholesale Merchandiser, you will be responsible for supporting the merchandising team with day-to-day admin duties, maintaining contact with the suppliers, factories & warehouse, ordering wash care labels, trims, swing tickets and other components needed for production. You will organise samples and filing collections.
The ideal applicant must have previous fashion production or wholesale merchandising experience working at an assistant level or completed a one-year work production placement with a high street supplier or fashion brand. You must have experience managing the critical path, working with overseas factories and external suppliers. You must be proficient using Microsoft Office programs and stock management systems, with knowledge of garment construction, wash-care labels and the life cycle of a garment.
