Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £75000 – £80000/annum

Core Group are currently recruiting for a Design Manager to join one of the UK's biggest residential and commerical developers. 

This position will be responsible for providing design coordination, including managing the design team, sub-contract/supply chain design and provide technical support to the project.

To be successful you will hold an Architectural Technology degree, or equivalent and have demonstrable knowledge of BREEAM and NHBC standards and Building Regulations (including Part B).

Your Purpose:

Working closely with our clients to accurately capture project requirements and intended outcomes.
Instilling client confidence in the design through your professionalism and care.
Taking technical ownership and providing oversight to the entire design process.
Proactively managing all aspects of design delivery, including quality, resources, risk management and reporting on design progress.
Working with multi-disciplinary teams in the UK and India to develop and co-ordinate designs and solutions to meet client needs.
Managing the design in line with processes and adhering to all relevant industry codes and standards.
You will support the development, implementation and sharing of best practice for design management.

Ideally, you will hold a recognised engineering degree and / or a recognised project management qualification.
Required experience:

Architectural Technology degree, or equivalent
BREAAM
NHBC standards and Building Regulations (including Part B)
Previous experience working on high value and high-end projects
Hands-on and dynamic approach
Strong track record delivering projects on-time
