Project Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £25000 – £30000/annum
Project Engineer required to join an excellent global manufacturer of Aerospace products, based in the Chirk area, to support the company's expansion. This role would suit a driven graduate with proven industry experience and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The relevant training will be provided to offer a long-term successful and exciting career.
Project Engineer Position Overview
Be accountable for the successful management of projects from conception through to delivery of components, enabling exceeding customer expectation.
Engage customer from enquiry stage to understand project and engineering requirements.
Work with the engineering and commercial team to prepare concise and accurate quotations.
Maintain communication with customers to provide project updates. It will be your responsibility to be the main point of contact supported by the technical and commercial team.
Organise and attend project meetings with customers
Project Engineer Position Requirements
Engineering degree or equivalent, ideally in a mechanical or manufacturing bias.
At least 2 years manufacturing experience within the Aerospace Industry.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with strong written, PowerPoint, Excel knowledge.
Ability to read and review 2D engineering drawings/3D models via solid works and other viewers.
Strong organisational and prioritising skills to manage multiple projects.
Be driven and with the ability to lead and operate as part of a team whilst being accountable to take personal responsibility to ensure the success of the project.
Must live within a commutable distance of Chirk

Full time – Permanent
Monday to Friday
A competitive salary of up to £25,000 – £30,000 dependent on experience
