Supply Chain Operative Apprentice

Brief Overview of the Role:
Do you want a more hands on, physical role? If so, this may be perfect for you. This is a great opportunity to pursue an apprenticeship in a warehouse setting, learning all aspects of the role whilst working towards a qualification.
Duties of the Role in Brief:-
* Assist in receipt and checking of all incoming materials and goods
* Sizing and cutting of materials
* Correct packaging of stock
* Produce labels, ensuring all details are correct, in readiness for despatch
* Use of machines, ie cutting (full training to be given).
* Ensure the warehouse is kept tidy inside and out, to adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
* Training will also be given on the sewing machine on how to sew banners, flags, light boxes and gazebos.
This is a varied role and the above duties are just an insight as to what is expected of you. Full training will be given.

Desired Qualifications:
It would be an advantage if you have achieved your GCSE C/4 or equivalent.
Working Hours/Wage:
Monday – Friday 8.30am-5pm (half an hour unpaid lunch)
Total hours = 40
Weekly wage: £192.40
Training to be Provided:
You will gain your level 2 Supply Chain Operative. You are required to safely use a range of equipment, machinery and vehicles, as relevant to your role and setting. This could include mechanical racking systems, materials handling equipment (MHE) or fork lift trucks.
Future Prospects:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there may be the opportunity of a full time position. This is at the discretion of the company.
