This great Digital Designer role has popped up in an expanding start-up in the southeast of London. This is a great role for someone who wants to go in and have high levels of autonomy and influence over digital design.

The business is a first of its kind subscription service that offers customers the chance to win prizes ranging from cash, and consoles through to luxury cars. The business is expanding its offering and model and will be donating significant amounts of cash to charities from the money raised.

The company is receiving rave reviews from users online and aims to become a leader in its area with high growth ahead. They have received major investment from some key players in leading industries in the UK.

The role is a Full-Time and Hybrid role based in Greater London Southeast. Driving or cycling is recommended due to the office location.

The Role:

To help the company realise their mission, they are looking for a motivated, creative, and highly skilled Digital Designer to complement the team and create exciting new designs to take the brand and business forward and help them build the ultimate experience for its subscribers. You’ll be filled to the brim with creative ideas and keen to own a growing B2C brand that you can grow substantially to become a market leader both in the UK and worldwide.

This will be a varied role where you will work on numerous types of digital design projects ranging from web projects, mobile projects, apps, digital ads, emails and more.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of commercial experience at an agency or company where you have practised all of these skills above

A total wizard in Photoshop and Illustrator

Experience with Figma, InVision and/or others such as Adobe XD would be preferred

Some knowledge of HTML / CSS (you don’t have to be a full-on Front-End Developer but they want you to have some basic understanding of the mediums you design for)

Ability to design for different channels with a focus on mobile-first responsive design principles but covering: desktop, tablets, mobile, emails, social ads, apps

Able to communicate your ideas

Work fast when required

Have meticulous attention to detail

Beneficial but not essential:

Print design experience

Knowledge of InDesign

HTML Email building

Front end coding skills (enough to build pages to hand over to the Developers)
