Launch Delivery Manager / Project Manager – Packaging
Company: A leading packaging and branding design agency.
Role: This is a project management position where strong previous experience of multiple line project management is key. Based at our client, the successful candidate will work along side our packaging team within the client’s busy trading category.
Responsible for looking after account and/or projects from initial concept to completion – through design process to production whilst ensuring an exceptional client service.
Currently working 2/3 days in the office, the rest of the week is WFH.
* Serves as a day-to-day contact
* Participate in meetings with existing clients and internal teams
* Ensures high quality standards in all client deliverables
* Coordinate client-specific projects throughout the lifecycle
* Managing projects from initial concept to completion, on time and budget
* Creating job briefs and booking in jobs
* Dealing with client queries and complaints whilst project managing ongoing projects
* Establish and maintain a strong client relationship
* Keep abreast of trends in the retail market and how they may affect the client
* Be commercially aware and responsive to client needs
* Attend client and supplier studio tours as required
* Own and be responsible for ensuring that all artwork projects are managed in a professional manner
* Manage design and clinic forums for projects within your control, for new ranges and re-designs
* Build a relationship with leading design agency contacts
* Arrange and attend pre-production meetings with suppliers, printers, client and pre-production technician
* Arrange and chair artwork sign off meetings
Requirements:
* Packaging industry experience – ideally food packaging
* Knowledge of design, retail, brand and packaging
* Proven account / project management within an agency / design or packaging manufacturers
* Experience in either the retail / FMCG markets
* Knowledge of print or repro
* Technical knowledge or printing processes – print and packaging
* Ability to work in the FMCG sector
* Team collaboration skills
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
