Protocol Education are currently looking for University Graduates to work on a flexible basis as a Teaching Assistant in the Sheffield area. If you have studied in Psychology, Performing Arts, Social work or Health and Social Care, this could be the ideal role for you.
The Role: Working as a Teaching Assistant you will work at a range of SEND schools providing support for the students in order to ensure that they’re getting the best out of their education and are given an equal opportunity to succeed outside of the classroom. Initially you will work on a day-to-day basis, however there could be the option for a school to offer you a long-term position should they require.
The schools: Like previously mentioned, you will work with multiple SEND schools across Sheffield with children who have a range of needs and disabilities, this may be on a 1:1 or small group basis. No matter which school you attend, you will be trusted to ensure the safety, confidentiality, and progress of the pupils.
The Successful Candidate: As an individual you will be outgoing and confident in your abilities to provide the best outcomes for your students.
You must be flexible, motivated, and committed to providing a caring and exciting learning environment where children are valued as individuals are challenged and enabled to reach their full potential.
Although not essential, extra qualifications in training in Moving and Handling and/or Team Teach are highly desired.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
