One of our clients is a rapidly growing Creative Design agency based in London and they are currently looking for a highly experienced designer to join as their new Head of Design. The role will require you to work with the creative director to come up with creative solutions to design problems and then implement these solutions together with the junior designers.

This is a broad spectrum, senior design role and will suit someone who has many year's experience with Print, Digital, and Branding design. This is a great opportunity to join an exciting company that values its employees and is currently working towards the B-corp certification for high standards and performance.

The Role

Driving the Design department forwards in a creative direction.
Producing high quality visuals and managing the day-to-day activities of the in-house design team
Work closely with the Marketing and Development teams and liaise with the Creative director, Studio Manager and CEO.
You'll be responsible for presenting designs to clients, taking part in pitches and having the confidence to push back and offer alternative options when necessary.

Are happy to lead a digital and print creative team by example and offer feedback and constructive criticism to team members
At least five year's experience working in a design agency environment
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud apps, in particular, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
A strong portfolio of web, print and branding design examples completed to a high standard is essential.
Can take ownership of multiple projects from start to finish and manage them all simultaneously
Are happy and confident presenting plans to clients (via Zoom and in-person, if required)
Have a thirst for development and are keen to learn new apps and constantly improve your design skills and knowledge
Experience designing responsive solutions for use across multiple devices and screen-sizes
Excellent Figma design skills, including prototyping and applying interactions
Understanding SEO best practices
