Design Coordinator
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £55000 – £58000/annum Package + Car
This established Oxfordshire based contractor are currently looking to recruit a Design Coordinator to work on various projects across the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire regions. This will include both new build and re-designs on refurbishment projects of various sizes, small one-off builds to multi-million pound projects
Working closely with the Design Manager this will be a mixture of site based and office based work. The company can boast a portfolio of established clients with ongoing works on colleges, hotels, commercial properties and high end residential properties.
The Design Coordinator will attend design team meetings, working closely with the construction team based on site. Assisting the Design Manager to address design issues and ongoing design changes throughout the life of each project.
Monitoring and managing drawings and design information to ensure compliance, and provide design support to Project Management teams.
An architectural background would be ideal, although an undersatnding of construction contracting will also be required, including knowledge of the various construction disciplines.
