This is an office-based role within Bradford
Develop a detailed marketing strategy and audience development plan – building on existing documents – that reflect the current profile with a focus on increasing brand reach and visibility
Work with external PR agencies on a national level and manage local and regional PR contacts
Lead on the creation of PR documents such as press releases and briefings
Manage the year-round marketing budget
Assist in the development of project specific budgets as required
Work alongside the Development Manager to assist in the writing and creation of funding bids and documents
Lead on the tender of marketing contracts as required
Lead on the design, creation and installation/ distribution of festival marketing collateral including brochures, leaflets, banners, advertisements etc.
Lead on digital communications including the creation and execution of digital content across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
Act as the GDPR lead within the organisation with lead responsibility for the CRM system
Lead on the gathering and analysis of audience data, including the creation of festival surveys, to feed into festival evaluation
Manage a small team and additional seasonal support
Support the Director and the organisation in all other marketing and communications related tasks as requiredPerson Specification
Proven track record in a Marketing Manager or related role with people management experience
Experience in managing key stakeholder relationships
Experience of working in a high-pressure environment and managing and prioritising multiple strands of work simultaneously
Experience of budget management and negotiation with suppliers
Proven organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines and under own direction
Proven experience of successfully managing a large-scale marketing campaign from conception through to execution
An articulate and sensitive communicator and influencer
Excellent eye for design and experience of the design and print process
Confident and experienced writer with strong copywriting skills
