A highly reputable and fiercely design led RIBA Chartered Practice in Tadcaster are currently recruiting for an accomplished Project Architect to join their 10 strong team.
The successful candidate will be working on a varied and challenging portfolio of work spanning the Residential, Educational and Heritage / Conservation sectors, this role offers genuine variation and will combine a mixture of Design, Technical delivery and managing multiple projects on site.
You will be joining an established and robustly well run Chartered Practice with a purpose-built open plan studio space located in a delightful semi-rural setting within walking distance to a very nice market town and excellent local amenities and free parking. The Practice currently operate a policy of working 3 days per week in the studio and the option of 2 days remotely. Culturally they have a fabulous mix of talented Architects (several are accredited in building conservation) designers and Technologists, many of these have been with the business for the majority of their career. Their project work is a nice mixture of local schemes both conversions & new build, many of which offer exposure to work in the Conservation & Heritage space. This is supported by reliable Education framework project work typically with a value between £5-£10million.
The successful Project Architect will be able to:
Fully Qualified Project Architect with at least 3-5 years post qualification experience.
Previous demonstrable Job Running and site delivery experience.
Solid all round experience gained across all RIBA stages 0-7.
A background of delivering projects within a selection of the advertised core markets.
The ability to manage projects from design brief through to client handover.
Strong client facing ability and be comfortable chairing meetings.
Technically proficient in either the use of REVIT or AutoCAD software.
Career driven with ambition and a keen interest in career advancement.
Salary depending on experience between £37,000 – £40,000 per annum + Generous Benefits and the option of home working and flexible hours.
