CAD Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £18600 – £24000/annum
We have a number of vacancies within a busy design agency near Colchester for CAD Planners and CAD Designers to carry out 2D drawings using AutoCAD. The role will involve producing drawings and creating detailed design packs. Both Junior's with some CAD experience or more senior staff will be considered however due to the company location you will need your own transport.
Duties
Drawing 2D existing & proposed space plans
Support Senior and Lead Planners/Designers
Creating detailed design packs
Sending and receiving data electronically
Various other admin related duties, including creation of and maintenance of Excel spreadsheets. Skills & Experience
Must have AutoCAD experience.
Adobe Creative suite preferred but not essential.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Good numeracy and literacy are essential skills.
Candidates need to be well motivated, good team players with good communication skills and problem-solving skills.
Must be willing to learn and take on new challenges.

Hours 8.30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday with ½ hour lunch.
20 days holiday plus bank holidays increasing to 25 days with service.
