Head of Department (Design)
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £60000 – £65000/annum Package – Commission
The Company specialise in delivering high-end car showrooms across the UK and Europe – they provide a complete design and project management experience, enabling a showroom fit-out that reflects the brand.
Working with Project Managers and Designers/Architects, the Head of Department will take ownership of the complete process to ensure each client's journey from design to fit-out is managed professionally and to the highest standard.
The Head of Department will need to be fully proactive with regard to understanding and managing documents and drawings, various forms of contracts, evaluations, taking a detailed client brief and meeting numerous deadlines.
A commission structure will reflect any new business the Head of Department brings into the company.
The company have an enviable reputation within the automotive showroom/retail industry for delivering sustainable designs with a focus on branding and buildability. Candidates would ideally come with a project management, design/architectural background, or a highly experienced departmental manager who is able to adapt to this industry
