Live Union is a full-service event agency created in 2009 and operating out of our central London Soho hub. Although based in the capital we’ve delivered events and draw inspiration from across the globe. Live Union exists to help clients re-imagine their events – to deliver what today’s business audience really values from experiences. We offer a 360 service from creative concept through to delivery. We are based around three main departments Accounts team, Creative studio and Production department. We have capabilities for fully virtual events, hybrid event including a broadcast studio in central London and physical event executions.

Job description
Summary
The Sales and Marketing Manager plays a vital role in developing relationships with prospective clients as well as maximising opportunities with existing clients by sharing our approach, work and services. The role offers a diverse range of responsibilities across both sales and marketing activities and reports into the Live Union board.
Your role will involve the following:
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the sales strategy, planning, implementing and following up our sales campaigns to book meetings with prospects.
Pro-active identification of new leads from wider sources (LinkedIn job moves, trade press, own research etc.)
Developing relationships with existing warm leads, maintaining contact with them to drive conversions.
Keeping the CRM database up to date on a day-to-day basis e.g. updating new contacts, updating records after mailers and making sure newsletter/email contact subscription settings are updated on individual contact records.
Managing sales pipeline ensuring regular follow ups.
Work closely with the accounts team to maintain consistent communication with existing clients and maximise opportunities.
Work closely with the accounts team to push opportunities through to close.
Work on pitch project management, helping to develop proposals, RFP and RFI responses and responses to tenders. Work closely with the internal account management team to complete these and push the opportunities through to close. Part of this will include sourcing relevant qualitative information to help complete the documents and doing some copywriting to support this.
Plan and deliver new business events such as our That’s Interesting Breakfasts and Skills Labs. Collaborating with other departments to deliver engaging events that attracts new and existing clients.
Carry out product demos of our virtual event platform, Beehive.
Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive business in new and existing markets.
Strengthen the agencies existing brand across digital and print.
Identify industry awards for entry and ensure submissions are done on time.
Responsible for social media channels and content creation.
Management of the creative/design process for event marketing material. This includes the update and development of existing materials plus the creation of new material in line with the marketing strategy.
Execute marketing campaigns to drive engagement and report on effectiveness and results.
Ensure marketing communications accurately reflect agency positioning and key messaging
Keeping the website up to date, publishing blogs, case studies and registration forms.
Copywriting for case studies, website and e-marketing
Ideal candidate
Event sector experience with a passion for live experiences
Experience of working across both sales and marketing
Digitally confident and used to working with different online CRM and marketing tools
Self-motivated and results driven

Package:
Salary range: Dependant on experience
3month probation
25 days of holiday + 8 bank holidays
