Kitchen / Interior Designer – Chertsey
KBB Recruitment are pleased to be working with a very successful and progressive retailer, specialising in German & British branded kitchens, bedrooms and living space furniture.
Looking to recruit an ambitious and dynamic team player to join the design and sales team at their stunning Chertsey studio. You will be designing exciting and creative projects and building strong customer relations whilst working with a friendly and inclusive team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within an Interior Sales Role and will have a proven sales record.
Main duties will include:
* Selling quality fitted furniture to discerning clients
* Maintain a detailed knowledge of the project through to completion
* Work alongside a team to achieve efficiency and a high level of customer service
* Work closely with customers to create a detailed understanding of their requirements
* Produce quality designs with a focus on the aesthetics and functionality
* Prepare a design and quotation to meet or exceed the customers expectation
* Maintain good knowledge of current trends and industry developments
* Manage multiple projects at one time and ensure all project targets are met
Candidates Requirements:
* Strong drawing and presentation skills
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with a confident and approachable manner
* Proficient in CAD design and pricing software, ideally a good practical knowledge of Compusoft Winner
* Able to understand and produce detailed plans, elevations, and service specifications
* A great eye for detail and design
* Self-motivated with good time management
* Capable of working in a pressured environment whilst meeting deadlines
* A full driving licence and own car

Monday to Friday (40 hour average) with at least one Saturday per month (day off in lieu)
SALARY £35,000 – £55,000 depending on experience, uncapped commission structure
