Based in the London borough of Lambeth they are highly innovative, creative & fun & their success within the entertainments industry continues to grow. As things return to normal their business is thriving again.

They are a leading set production company supplying set and decoration to a wide range of product launches, fashion shows, exhibitions, and private events They primarily provide design, scenery, lighting and AV for a wide range of events.

Role summary:

We are looking for a skilled and energetic person to manage the build workshop. This role relies upon the ability to plan & organise the team & resources across multiple projects at any given time.

The projects are hugely varied in content, style and design making this a varied and exciting role.

This role essentially co-ordinates the build, construction and prep of multiple projects through the busy workshop. The need to be sharp, have great attention to detail & ensure all materials are available on time is essential. Likewise so is the ability to prioritise work schedules constantly.

Duties include

* Scheduling carpenters, painter’s, and finishers

* Ordering and ensuring the smooth supply of materials

* Liaising with logistics in terms of crewing, loading schedules and packing

* Working with Project managers to manage workflow and design details

* Managing returning projects, hires, recycling and disposal

* Booking and ordering hire equipment

Skills needed

* Having a solid knowledge of design / production led project management

* Great personnel skills, to manage a large team of people with different skills

* Being able to navigate a wide range of projects and components

* To be able to cope with tight time frames and short lead times

* Prioritise workflow and completion dates

This role sits at the heart of the business and forms a core role within the team of creatives, project managers, logistics team and skilled makers.

You will become part of a dynamic team producing quality and interesting set builds for leading events across London, the UK and Europe. They are a close team with a wonderful diverse client base which makes each project unique and no two days the same.
