Freelance Interior Designer Job in London
Freelance Interior Designer job available with a global retail design firm, based in Soho, London. This is a Vectorworks-based role, focused on designing and delivering the concept design and technical design intent stages of high footfall retail projects across Europe and Globally. The position is offered on an initial 3-month contract and can be offered on a fully remote or hybrid basis.
With over three decades of experience, this global retail design firm has completed numerous international projects focused on high-volume retail and travel environments, working with a range of clients from airport operators to high-end boutique retailers. The ideal candidate will be coming from an interior designer, interior architect, or Retail Designer background with good concept design skills and experience producing detailed technical packages.
Role & Responsibilities
To produce concept design and technical design intent/tender packages
Bespoke joinery/FF&E detailing
Assist in the design and development of mood boards and furnishing selections
Liaise with senior members of the team and sub-contractors. Required Skills & Experience
2+ years' experience in retail or airport design, experience with luxury retail brands in the beauty or perfume sector would be highly advantageous
Proficiency in Vectorworks, Photoshop, and InDesign
Experience producing technical packages
Ideally degree qualified in interior design or similar.What you get back
Day rate of up to £250
