Senior Bookkeeper
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £40000 – £45000/annum
The client are an international arts and design gallery with locations across New York, London and Spain. The head office is based here in London – in the West End (Mayfiar) – and they are looking for a permanent Senior Bookkeeper to join the team. They have a small team, and the successful candidate will run the day-to-day of the finance team.

The client are a global brand that work with very popular artists and designers around the world. They have 3 main locations (the main one based here in the West End – Mayfair) and they are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to manage the day to day running of the finance team. The successful candidate will have a direct report, and will be taking care of the accounts (up to and including the management accounts) and will be reporting directly into one of the company directors.
Description
The successful Senior Bookkeeper will be doing the:
End-to-end management of the Accounts Payable and Receivable ledgers
Monthly management accounts production
VAT returns – monthly
Accruals and Prepayments
Multi-currency bank reconciliations (GDP, EURO and USD)
Cost of sales reporting
P&L and Balance Sheet management
Ad hoc workProfile
The successful Senior Bookkeeper will:
Have approximately 4-5 years of previous Bookkeeping experience
Previous experience working in the finance team in an art gallery (desirable, not essential)
Previous experience doing the end-to-end accounts for an SME
Previous experience doing the VAT returns
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have a working knowledge of Navision (desirable, not essential)Job Offer
