THE COMPANY:
We're exclusively recruiting for a highly successful fashion business located in Central London that has been established for over 70 years!
Due to an expansion of their online ecommerce and wholesale side of the business, they're now looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager to join the team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the fashion industry and has experience within a Production & Logistics Management within the fashion industry.
PRODUCTION MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Managing Director
Taking full responsibility for Purchasing and Logistics
Managing the relationship with the 4 factories in Bangladesh, China, Vietnam and Turkey
Handling all logistics matters from leaving the factory to being delivered
Responsible for stock management and analysis
Implementing processes and procedures
Working closely with the MD in relation to Spring/Summer product selection
Attending trade fairs to select new products for new ranges
Assisting in product / range development
Identifying suppliers as and when requiredTHE PERSON:
Must have experience as a Production Manager or similar role within a fashion business
Experience of working closely with international factories and handling the logistics side
Good experience of stock management and analysis
Must have experience in the logistics in terms of the product arriving in the UK
Any experience of product development / visiting tradeshows to select new ranges would be a significant advantage but not essential
