My client are a leading provider of Litho and Digital Print and are looking for an experienced Print Finisher to operate the Laminator.
The Laminator Operator is responsible for setting up the film on the laminator, running production of the laminator, cleaning and all related maintenance of the machine. Overtime would be required in busy periods so you would need to be flexible.
Key responsibilities and duties (but not limited to):
Set up & Operate specific Laminating Machine according to the Company laminating procedures and guidelines
Identifies and ensures that proper materials are used for production
Ensures mistakes are not made and materials match as necessary
Manages pre-run testing of the material to ensure the correct coding weights and bond strength are applied
Runs the proper amount of material/footage to the job order
Completes proper checking of production and material
Perform all required quality checks prior to producing all production orders to ensure a product can be processed at the next stage of the manufacturing process.
Load and unload material from the laminators using defined equipment
Follow the production schedule as issued by production control
Follow equipment and workplace cleaning/sanitation procedures
Experience of auto-bond laminator would be advantageous
