Excellent opportunity for a graduate engineer with a degree in product design, human factors or ergonomics to join a leading engineering design and manufacturer in the y sought after medical device industry.
Based North of Bury st Edmunds this company are an innovative manufacturer of medical devices. They have an impressive portfolio of cutting edge products which enables all their engineers to be at the forefront of technology.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, running, reporting and analysis of high-quality Human Factors studies and activities. The role includes collaboratively working within our multidisciplinary teams, developing medical devices that are suitable and safe for use.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate that holds a degree in human factors, ergonomics or product designing. Have an interest in getting into the medical device industry and being in a human factors engineering role.

The role:
* Ensure that user requirements have been identified and met in the design of the device.
*Generation of project documentation in line with medical device regulatory requirements.
*Develop study protocols, moderating, data collecting and analysing user studies, including formative and summative evaluations.
*Plan and conduct early user research activities such as contextual inquiries, interviews and journey mapping. Analysis of use errors, root-cause and use risk analysis.
*Technical and editorial reviews of other team member's work.
The person:
*Have a degree in human factors, ergonomics, product design or equivalent.
*Have an interest in developing your career in the medical device industry.
*Have an interest in being in a role based around human factors engineering
