Artwork Design Assistant

Salary : £18800/annum Free Parking, Pension
This long established company is looking for someone to join their Artwork team on a 6 to 12 month maternity cover role with the possibilities for a permanent role. If you are looking for an opportunity in an artwork based role, this could be just what you want. There is a salary of £18,800 (rising to £20,500 after 6 months) and benefits including free parking, pension scheme, childcare vouchers and holidays that increase over time.
Your role as an Artwork Design Assistant:
Working as part of a small team you will be dealing with a mixture of lapsed and existing customers. Duties will include:
Receiving artwork from customers to create templates
Working with templates to manipulate customer designs and create visuals
Amending visuals/artwork to meet customer specification
Emailing changes and amendments to other members of the team as required
Creating mock visuals and 3D visuals for customers
Redrawing or image tracing artwork
Creating and amending templates
Printing of visuals and films used to create the visual
We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
Either experience in a similar artwork-based role or have an artwork or design qualification
Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator
Comfortable working with Adobe Photoshop
An excellent eye for detail is essential
Able to commit to a 6-12 month contract
