Accounts Assistant
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £28000 – £30000/annum
The Accounts Assistant role will be varied and give you exposure across all areas of financial accounting including month end assistance. Working directly with a Qualified Accountant and under the leadership of a Finance Manager and Finance Director you will assist in all areas of finance and be given plenty of opportunity to progress and develop your career.

Description
This Accounts Assistant role working for a leading Design and Creative business in Leamington Spa will involve:
Working closely with the Finance Manager, and wider Finance team, in a fast-paced environment, to deliver effective financial processes within the Company. The role involves engaging with a range of disciplines and external stakeholders and requires the ability to work to deadlines and high levels of accuracy.
Assistance with month end procedures
Calculating monthly recharges and raising invoices on both companies
Raising monthly sales invoices
Management of the fixed assets register
Posting of various journals including depreciation, leases, payroll
Reconciling petty cash
Processing employee expenses
Processing of purchase invoices, reconciling foreign currency, purchase order raising and tracking and invoice approvals
Credit card statement analysis
Assistance with the annual statutory audit processes
Liaising with company auditors
Assisting with the collation of information
Ad-hoc tasks as required by the Financial Accountant and Finance Director
Profile
To be successful in this role you will ideally be close to completing your AAT or AAT qualified and or beginning your professional ACCA/CIMA qualification. You will be a team player with strong IT skills (ideally SAGE and Excel) and be seeking a opportunity and business to offer you support and training. You will be dedicated and face situations with a problem solving approach and be willing and able to manage a diverse workload.
