This is a great opportunity to work for a Global business as a CAD Assistant. This role is for 3 months with an immediate start. You will be reviewing supplied customer data files, prepare for manufacture and support with CAD / manipulation.
The key areas of responsibility are:
– Inspect and review data files to assess their suitability for the manufacturing process.
– Fix customer files by creating a solid shell suitable for 3D builds.
– Align component files, generate support structures and edit as necessary.
– Transfer files to the 3D printing machines.
– Monitor 3D printing process.
– Review and report on expected build duration.
Essential Experience / Qualities:
– CAD experience ideally with 3D visualization skills
– Interest and comprehension of 3D Printing, file handling and data fixing
– Excellent communication skills, good team worker, flexible and able to work under pressure.
– Excellent timekeeping
Desirable Experience / Qualities:
– HNC or degree in a CAD or design field
– Experience of Magics
