Konker is recruiting for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join an award-winning multi-discipline consultancy in their Blyth office.
Overall, the company has 12 UK offices, and a 50-strong architectural team split. They are in the AJ 100, and you would consider their portfolio as being world-class.
They work in a wide variety of sectors – commercial, defence and security, education, development and regeneration, hotels, hospitality and leisure, public buildings, and estates – just to name a few!
As the Part 2 Architectural Assistant, you will be working on several new projects including one of the largest construction projects in Europe. In addition, they have a solid order book with future pipelines already secured.
You will be supported and mentored for your Part 3 whilst working on the most cutting-edge technology that UK-wide architectural practices are working too. This company has developed a reputation for creating innovative ways of how they operate and delivers its projects.

The Position: Part 2 Architectural Assistant – Blyth
Working across RIBA Stages 1-5
Produce architectural drawings, reports and concepts
Support with conducting and communicating the brief to colleagues
Carry out studies and design proposals
Planning applications, Building Regulations and appeals
Work independently on concept layouts
On-site inspections
Use AutoCAD, Revit and Sketchup The salary for this position ranges from £24,000-£30,000 depending on previous experience and ability.
