Conrad Consulting have a new vacancy available for an ambitious Architect to be based from a busy Architectural practice located in the delightful spa town of Ilkley, West Yorkshire.
This Architectural practice have an excellent reputation and have remained robust and buoyant throughout the many difficulties recent times have presented, they are looking forward with optimism to a busy year ahead. This, coupled with several new commissions has led to their requirement for an experienced Project Architect to join their 12 strong practice on a full-time, permanent basis. The practice established for approximately 30 years have developed an excellent reputation by combining traditional Architecture training coupled with the latest technology to create exceptional practical and detailed building spaces.
Although this Practice boast a diverse range of sectors within their historical portfolio you will initially be joining the practice to further their involvement in the Residential and living sectors, several of which have a conservation and listed building stature.
They have an established Directorship team responsible for developing excellent client relationships, leading to an enviable portfolio of design led commissions. They now require an ambitious Architect who is keen to progress into a job running role and posses an ability to multi task to a broad range of clients and project types. The practice are keen to secure someone who is experienced enough to be left to their own devices and tenacious in their ability to problem solve and effectively manage projects from initial design brief through to construction delivery stages.
As Architect, we expect the following criteria to be met:
* ARB / RIBA accredited Architect with at least 3- 5 years post qualification experience.
* Proven job-running and site delivery experience, ideally of a Residential nature.
* Excellent Design capabilities and exceptional Technical skills.
* Experienced at working across all RIBA stages
* Proficiency with REVIT software
* Excellent communication skills.
* Natural client facing skills and communication skills.
* Excellent time-management and ability to work on projects simultaneously.
A competitive salary is available at Circa £35,000 – £40,000 per annum + benefits.
