CAD / CAM Coordinator – Cartonboard Packaging

Hours – 8-10AM – 4-6PM (Flexi hours)

Established over 100 years ago, this is to work for one of the largest manufacturers of paperboard and paper-based packaging. They have over 130 facilities worldwide and circa 24000 employees and produce packaging for brands in the food, beverage, food service, household, personal care and pet care products.
The role-
Manage all CAD technical/production requirements
Create production-ready files for internal and external use
Create structural packaging designs and CAD samples from customer brief
Responsibilities-
Process creative and production briefs supplied by the account manager/customer services to the agreed standard and deadline
Producing production ready profiles i.e. putting overlays on
Ensure production of quality customer samples, of the correct requirements, for presentation to our clients.
To support all members of the design team by communicating all work-related information in a timely and proper manner, to ensure an efficient working environment
Requirements-
Solid experience in CAD software (Artios CAD), Adobe CS and Microsoft Office
Solid experience in a structural packaging design environment
Preferably from the Cartonboard industry
Will consider someone from the corrugated packaging industry
Critical thinking/Problem solving
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Teamwork/Collaboration
Profession with an excellent work ethic
