Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working closely with an exciting, vibrant and growing architectural practice in central Derby, presenting this fantastic opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their team.

The practice have been established for just over 5 years, but have already grown into an office of 11 Architectural professionals, all with a wealth of experience and endless passion for the industry. The team consists of a good mix of Architects, Technicians, and Assistants, ranging from newly qualified to experienced individuals with 20+ years of experience.

An experienced Architectural Technologist is now required to join the team on a permanent basis to facilitate further growth in the company. The Director of the practice has big plans for the company, and is planning on growing the practice significantly as we head in to the summer of 2022. This is the perfect opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join a practice that are growing and getting stronger by the day.

Working within a broad range of sectors, the practice enjoy a diverse and varied portfolio of projects, in areas such as; Residential, Education, Commercial, Hospitality, Industrial, Healthcare and more. As an Architect within the office, you will largely be working in RIBA stages 4 onwards so previous experience in these areas is essential when applying to this position. Architectural Technologists that are also interested in developing their design capabilities will be encouraged to be involved with the early RIBA stages.

Skills, qualifications and experience desirable for the Architectural Technologist as follows:

Degree qualified in Architectural Technoloy (UK recognised qualification)
CIAT accredited or ACIAT.
Approximately 5-10 years industry experience, although there may be opportunity for both Junior and Senior level individuals within the practice.
Experience in varied sectors, with particular focus on Residential, Education and Commercial projects.
The practice use AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp as their main software packages, so proficiency in these would be ideal.
Strong communication skills and confidence in being in a client facing position.

In return, the successful Architectural Technologist will be offered a competitive salary and benefits package, with salary likely to be in the region of £30,000-£45,000 negotiable dependent on experience.
