Winner Recruitment are currently supporting one of the world’s leading companies of licenced retail products, with the recruitment of their new Brand Manager.

My client has presence in over 90 countries including, Europe, America, Africa, Middle East, Asia, and Australia.

This role will be based out of their Midland’s office – and, for the right candidate, it can be a mix of both office and home based.

The duties of the Brand Manager will include:

Collating briefs from all business hubs on new product development
Preparing a detailed PPT brief, including not limited to market trends, competition and price points for the designer to action renderings
Directly liaising with the designers for entire project conceptualization, arranging the renderings and ai files
Value engineering projects to ensure cost effectiveness, suggest ideas on how to reduce costs and increase the ‘value offering’ of the product
Acquiring product design ranking from individual business hubs, once the Designer has submitted the drawings to Brand Manager, these rankings need to be shared with the team to update on the company system
Proceeding with sampling after approvals from commercial heads
Direct communication with the respective sourcing team
Acquiring pricing approvals through commercial head to align with the brief
Responsible to bring the new collection on the table including renderings, samples, and lead the product presentation from the forefront for all hub meetings and sales meetings
Be up to date with the trends in the market and align the product designs with the vision of the brand and product journey
Working on new concepts for packaging, upgrades, proposing the same to all business hubs, getting feedback, and taking sign offs from Commercial Head and Brand Director for execution
End to end ideation, creation, management of order forms
Compiling an archive of all designs used and unused within the brand and category, and optimize accessibility
Preparing and maintaining a bible for the brand, with all historic data and info on best sellers and worst sellers
Ensuring sample availability for business hub meetings based on sample policy
Keeping all Sales Managers always informed, on the brand house contractual obligations, where applicable, so operations are in alignment with the assigned collection names to new families and share the relevant information
The ideal Brand Manager will have:

Experience in a Brand Management role
Ideally, extensive watch Industry experience
A full UK driving license
At least 5 years’ experience within a similar position
The ability to travel if required
The salary for this role will be £30,000 – £45,000 depending on your experience

Hours of work are Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm –  Flexibility will be required to attend trade shows in the UK and Worldwide
