Senior Interior Designer Job in Edinburgh, Scotland
An established commercial design firm is looking to fill a Senior Interior Designer job, based from their office in Edinburgh, Scotland. The ideal candidate will have a background in workplace and commercial design, with strong space planning skills and experience working across all stages of the design life cycle. The position offers a salary of up to £35,000 and will be part of a close-knit and collaborative team.
Established almost a decade ago, this small team of creatives have a good position within the sector and are now looking to expand by appointing a Senior Interior Designer / Senior Workplace Designer that will work closely with an Associate and a wider design team for projects across Scotland, ranging from workplace strategy, space analysis, and end-to-end interior design.
Role & Responsibilities
Assist with and provide guidance on technical drawings and packages
Production of 2D technical drawings and 3D visual renders
FF&E specification and selection
Collaborate with the wider team for concept designs and client presentations
Site & client visits.Required Skills & Experience
Degree qualified in interior design or similar
2 – 5 years' experience within workplace design/consultancy/D&B
Strong AutoCAD and Photoshop skills. SketchUp and Revit also desirable
Full driving license and own vehicle, desirable.What you get back
Salary up to £35,000
Holiday allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays
Office-based but can support remote working from time to time
