If you are a Senior Architectural Technologist with a passion for Residential design and suitably skilled with Revit, this role with an established and design led Architectural Practice in Huddersfield could be for you.

The office in Huddersfield is surrounded by rail and bus stations, along with parking available on site, meaning the commute to and from work is easily manageable.

As part of a large scale, multi-disciplinary environment, the Architectural team is comprised of a 50/50 split between design and technical focus. The team is made up of approx.. 12 architectural professionals that includes Architects & Architectural Assistants on one side, and experienced Architectural Technicians on the other. As a result of a large intake of work, a Senior Architectural Technologist is now required to join the practice.

Specialising in large scale housing developments, predominantly featuring affordable housing schemes, bespoke niche developments, Volume Housing and extra care facilities this company has a unique approach to their designs. The practice take real pride in their design and delivery, and are looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist with a background in the residential sector to join them on a permanent basis.

Other project types worked on include some industrial and occasional project work within the conservation and heritage sectors.

Revit is the main software used within the business, so demonstrable experience of utilising Revit on live projects will be highly desirable, however for the right individual some training will be provided.

The successful Senior Architectural Technologist for this role will possess the following:

A relevant Architectural qualification, either a degree in Architectural Technology or HND/HNC.
Experience of working within an Architectural Practice or Consultancy background.
A background of working on housing schemes of varying size and value, ideally focussing on affordable housing.
Experience of working on care homes and mixed use developments
Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD & Revit
