Who you'll be working for:
My client is an established and growing company with both a retail and ecommerce presence. Reporting into the MD you will be responsible for a small Merchandising team consisting of Junior Merch, Assistant Merch and an Allocator.

What you'll be doing:
Day to day management of the Merchandising team, providing guidance and leadership
You will be required to create, manage, and own product category budget and strategy to deliver customer needs and brand segmentation.
Budgetary responsibility so you'll be required to have strong financial and commercial skills
Providing forecasts with pin point accuracy.
What we need from you:
Experience working for a retailer or working for a company that supplies to the retail sector.
FMCG or Fashion experience is preferred.
Ideally you will have a background leading a team, or perhaps you are a Senior Merchandiser looking to step and assume responsibility for a small team
A well organised individual with attention to detail and strong can-do attitude
Strong analytic and numerical skills with the ability to use results of that analysis to deliver sales and profit opportunities and manage budgets effectively
