The HR Manager is responsible for the provision of a first-class human resources service for their relevant client populations. An effective communicator with high attention to detail, organisation and an aptitude for relationship building, the post-holder will enable the provision of an effective, efficient, and proactive HR service, partnering with our managers to support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, providing timely and appropriate resolutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibility for delivering a commercial, group-aligned 360-degree Human Resources service across all allocated client groups, ensuring the timely and accurate execution of all employee lifecycle processes.
Maintenance and accountability of day-to-day Human Resources functions, supported by a HR Adviser and HR Administrator, ensuring service is provided in an accurate and timely manner, complying with internal processes and polices, and meeting service level agreements.
Ensure the integrity of employee data and documentation, ensuring this is up to date and accurate.
To confidently lead employee relations cases, including actively leading disciplinary and grievance hearings as required, and within designated timeframes.
To be an expert in implementing in employee relations procedures, providing support on employee relations issues across the business as required.
To provide proactive and creative people solutions, which strike the right balance from both an employee and commercial perspective and leading on the successful implementation and execution of organisational change work, including restructures and TUPE.

Contribute positively to the effectiveness and efficiency of the Group HR team, providing cover for HR colleagues during periods of sickness or annual leave, and contributing to various HR related matters in other client businesses from time to time.

Effectively manage the HR Advisor and Administrator, ensuring regular informal and formal performance feedback, coaching and development to maximise potential and ensure SLAs and objectives are being met

Skills and Experience:

Bachelors degree in relevant field
CIPD Level 5
Experience within a generalist HR role
Proven track record of successfully devising and implementing HR projects
MS Office Suite
Experience working within a small HR team
Good rounded Employment Law knowledge
Methodical, accurate, logical and concise approach to work
Receptive to change
