Here at Gi Group we are looking for a Design Engineer to join the team at an award-winning coding and labelling technology company in Annesley.
This is an ideal position for a Design graduate – you will be an integral part of the Operations team, providing essential Design ideas, models, assembly drawings and component details using 3D CAD software.
Salary: £24,000 – £32,000
In this role you will be responsible for:
-Providing essential design ideas, models, assembly drawings and component details using 3D CAD Software
-Driving multiple projects, taking solutions from concept to design through to production and installation
-Producing BOM's on our SAP business system, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget, to the right quality and on-time
The successful candidate will need:
-A relevant design related degree
-Competency in using AutoCad 2D and Inventor 3D
-Experience of mechanical and electrical design skills
-Competency in using Microsoft Office packages
-A high level of commercial awareness
-Excellent communication skills
-The ability to work to deadlines, delivering on-time, on-budget
-A degree in Engineering preferable
