Location – Newcastle, (hybrid remote working, based in office 2 days a week on average, sometimes less)

The job in summary:
The Learning Experience Professional works with the Learning Solutions Manager to develop, facilitate and manage the implementation of learning solutions to support the large-scale, high-profile learning Programmes. Working closely with the Organisation Effectiveness team, Learning Community and broader stakeholders across the business, this critical role helps translate business needs into clearly scoped requirements, offering expert advice and recommendations.
Working on operational and change programmes, focused on curation or customisation of existing learning solutions and developing non-complex bespoke solutions, you will research and identify options and solutions, design, configure or secure new learning solutions and project manage the solution through to the point it is embedded within the learning curriculum and in life teams. Responsible for facilitating the delivery of the group learning offering.
For this role, you should demonstrate some evidence of experience in the following areas:
– Learning Design
– Project management
– Senior stakeholders' engagement & management
– Delivery & Facilitation
Within this function, they don't operate as a true COE so don't hold the people or in some cases, the budgets for learning and development, so there is a need to work very collaboratively and sometimes carefully with the business units. As a norm, these roles will be working with people at Director level, and large groups of stakeholders, so knowing when and how to adjust your approach is key to success
This is a group-level role, which adds complexity in terms of the learning experience due to the sheer scale of the business, and the many various stakeholders involved. For eg, a standard task of updating employee induction and on-boarding can even prove challenging due to 6 different business units adopting different onboarding approaches due to colleagues operating across different platforms, systems or even different companies across the group.
This is an opportunity to assist in the full E2E process, so whilst undertaking with assisting with the initial scoping, your role will compromise of working with the design teams to collate the learning proposal, project management the projects using virtual teams, inc specialist designers, specialist culture colleagues, and utilise these internal teams to build out the product which you will then facilitate to the business.
This role offers a fantastic variety of the entire lifecycle within L&D.
