Role Profile
As the exclusive recruitment partner for Bunzl Catering group, Cast UK have been instructed to recruit a CAD Designer for their AGGORA team based out of their operation in Harlow. We are looking for an ambitious junior CAD Designer to join their busy team on a permanent basis, this is a fantastic role which offers an excellent working environment and job satisfaction.
Reporting into the Senior Operations Manager, this role will allow you the opportunity to take your step into your first CAD Design role. The CAD Designer will Prepare competent drawings and quotations for catering equipment layouts from consultant brief.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
Prepare drawings for presentation to customers using standard format both general and service types combined with innovative styles of presentation to create a class winning document.
Prepare accurate quotations using in house software system always checking against Design Manual procedures.
Demonstrate innovation when producing presentation material for customer projects
Actively enhance GP margin using negotiation skills with suppliers and subcontractors
Continuous focus on maximum customer satisfaction utilising high levels of communication both verbally and written
Attend one to one reviews, team meetings and identify training needs as required
Demonstrate awareness for colleagues and internal customers needs at all times. Strictly adhere to employee rules, design quality manual and corporate policies.
Submit activity reports as requested by line managerSkills and Experience
AutoCad experience
Experience of liaising with, and managing third party or outsourced Partner relationships is essential in this role
