Graphics Production Technician

We are looking for an experienced Graphics Production Technician to join our busy production department. The successful candidate will have joint responsibility for managing the production process from conception through to delivery, for a wide variety of graphics, films and other bespoke display solutions of varied sizes.
The candidate must be extremely organised, proactive and able to meet tight deadlines. They will be expected to produce products finished to the highest and must be a good multitasker with the ability to prioritise. Excellent communication skills are a must and a good sense of humour is desirable.
The ideal candidate will have sufficient experience in manufacture of printed vinyl and films. This includes preparation of art work and designs and setting up and operating vinyl cutting equipment and digital printers. Knowledge of computers and programmes such as SignLab and Illustrator or similar will be essential.
Key responsibilities for the role include;

Assisting with management of project pipeline and daily schedule
*
Art working and design using Illustrator and SignLab software
*
Operation of production machinery including digital printers to produce high quality formats of various sizes
*
Mimaki JV 5 & 160 preparation of graphics including vinyl cutting
Key attributes include;
*
Ideally at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role
*
Experience in Sign Lab and Illustrator would be preferable
*
A highly organised and tidy approach to work
*
The ability to prioritise and to be able to manage several projects at once
*
Ability to work well under pressure
*
Good problem solving skills
*
Attention to detail and an eye for design
*
Ability to communicate effectively with directors and fellow employees
*
Reliable and flexible to the needs of the business
*
A good sense of humour
