Sewing Machinist
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £9.50 – £10.01/hour
Premium Apparel Manufacturer – Derbyshire based.
Offering Full Time or Part Time hours.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced industrial sewing machinist to join the team. Based within the Long Eaton factory you will use your skills to ensure all sewing requirements of luxury T-shirts are carried out to the appropriate high specifications.
We are looking for experienced overlock or twin needle cover seam machinists, preferably experienced working with jersey fabrics.
You need to be able to:
* work accurately at speed
* follow instructions
* work closely with colleagues and supervisors
* work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Shift Pattern : A 4-day week Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 5.00pm (hours can be negotiable to the right candidate)
Sewing Machinist – Experience:
* Machinist : 1 year (preferred)
* An eye for detail and quality of work
* An interest in fashion and design
* Patience
* The ability to concentrate for long periods of time
