Graphic Designer sought by a specialist financial services provider based near York. They are highly regarded as market leaders with the majority stake in their field and with an ever-growing international presence, there is a unique opportunity to join at an exciting phase of growth for the company.
Hybrid working is available for this role, with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.
The Role:
As Graphic Designer, you will report to the Marketing Manager with the following key responsibilities:
* Working with in-house web developers, content writers and other designers to deliver a market-leading customer journey.
* Create and develop digital assets including videos, web banners, infographics, illustrations, emails, etc.
* Design and produce print collateral including advertising for specialised publications, inserts, etc.
* Create e-newsletters and promotional email marketing using Mailchimp or similar online platform.
* Create artworks for use on social media channels.
* Remaining up to date with web design best practice and industry trends and developments.
The successful Graphic Designer will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
* Solid design experience in a commercial environment.
* Relevant qualifications in Graphic Design or related subject.
* Detailed knowledge of dedicated web, visual or UI design.
* High skills level in using Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
* Experience working within an environment dedicated to optimising the user experience (UX).
* Knowledge of how design work can translate to implementable solutions in web and mobile.
* Experience of design for social media campaigns, both paid (Facebook) and organic.
* Due to office location, driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
* A portfolio with examples of design experience including UI/UX.
